Sizing Instructions
Using a piece of string or body cord, drape the string or body cord over your shoulder as if it was your radio strap.
Adjust the cord such that one end is at the location where the top of your holster would connect to the strap.
Bring the other end of the cord together with the end that you have positioned in step 2.
Holding both ends of the cord with one hand, take the cord off your shoulder and lay it on a flat surface. Mark the cord where the long end of the cord is. Measure from the end of the cord to your mark, and that is the length you need.
Please be sure to follow the instructions on this card that will be attached to your strap. Loss of hardware and/or parts of your strap will occur if you fail to follow instructions. Replacement hardware and strap parts are available for an additional cost. When applying the thread locker, avoid getting it on the leather.

***If you choose to have a fitted strap, your strap will be made so that the total length is from each of the clasps that attach to your radio holster with the least amount of tolerance possible.***
The drawing to the left displays how each style shield is measured. Both the Classic and the Vintage styles are available in the 6″ and 6½” sizes of most of the shields we have to offer. In other words, this drawing DOES NOT mean you can’t get a 6″ Vintage or a 6½” Classic style shield. It merely shows how each style of shield is measured.
